[Gross] Zach Parise sat alone at his locker the whole time the media was in there, staring straight ahead, at his skates. Finally, Kyle Palmieri, after he was done with his interviews, walked across the room and hugged his teammate, touching foreheads. No guarantee Parise, 38, plays again

  1. Hardest working guy the past two seasons. Feet always moving. Would love for him to give us one more season, but the guy doesn’t owe us anything.

  2. I guess it’s different when you’re in the thick of it, but it’s hard to believe the players bought in to the idea that they could win a Cup this year. It was clear watching them that they didn’t have that gear but more importantly they didn’t play like a team that really believed like they did during the Trotz years.

  3. I hope he’s back…. ONLY player not to miss a game in the past 2 seasons. He gives 110% every game. He better be back.

  4. Absolutely my favorite Islander this year, and my dad’s too. He deserves a cup, I hope he keeps playing and gets his cup, with it without us

  5. I would run through a brick wall for this man. There’s plenty of blame to go around for this series. He gets none of it

  6. Remember when everyone was shitting on him for only getting one goal until december last year lol

  7. Might get downvoted but I would be okay with him leaving us to go to a top contender next year. I’d love to see him win a cup, and if next year is his last, he’s better off leaving if what he wants is a cup
