  1. As an Oregon Alum and Bronco fan, I am stoked by this. Forsyth was a beast for Oregon. Just some worthy lines from this last year: “Led Oregon’s starters with an 85.8 pass-blocking grade from Pro Football Focus, fourth-best among all FBS centers and tied for 21st among all offensive linemen … Allowed just one pressure and zero sacks in 384 pass-blocking opportunities, according to PFF … Pass-blocking grade of 80.0 or better in eight of 12 games, and 75.0 or better in 10 of 12 … Also earned a solid 72.0 overall grade from PFF and a 70.3 run-blocking grade … Leader of an Oregon offensive line that led the nation with just five sacks allowed, the fewest allowed by a non-triple option team in a full season since 2015 … UO also tied for 12th in the nation with just 52.0 tackles for loss allowed … Helped the Ducks finish as the only team in the nation in the top 20 for both rushing offense (12th, 215.77 YPG) and passing offense (17th, 284.8 YPG) … Oregon rushed for at least 100 yards in 12 of 13 games with seven games of 200-plus yards and three of 300-plus”

  2. I’ve worked out in the same training facility with this guy, know the guy who actively trains him very well, and been through Bowl game festivities with him. Everyone seems to think he is a totally upstanding guy.

To be honest I never really thought he was an NFL guy, but he is an upstanding person.

  3. He seems decently graded to have fallen to the 7th. I’m hoping it’s more of a “steal in the 7th” situation rather than unseen red flags.

    Welcome to Broncos Country, Alex!

  4. Most OL after the first round or two need a couple years to develop to the NFL level anyways. Might work out, might not.

  5. As an Oregon alum, season ticket holder, and lifelong Broncos fan, I see Ducks drafted to Denver, I upvote.

  6. Oregon C Forsyth going to camp to battle former Washington C Wattenberg for backup roster spot. Should be spicy.

  7. FYI, the top center award and the Outland Trophy winner is a center and was drafted in the 5th round by Seattle. I’ve no idea if he is good but usually those awards are pretty important. People saying nobody was/or ever has been, available after the 2nd are wrong.
