3. Imagine you’re an isles fan, you shell out a bunch of money for playoff tickets, and you end up next to this guy all game, plus a camera in front of you recording the whole time

9. One of my BFFs for the past 26 years is a huge NYI fan. When it was announced the Canes were coming, he tried his best to convince me I’d like it if I tried it. Nope. We’re a college sports area. Boy was I wrong! My son started watching in 2001 (middle school). He was in year-round school, so we went to a lot of practices at the RecZone. Met players, took pics, got autographs. (::sigh:: BatesBattaglia::sigh::) That did it. I was hooked long before I ever saw my first game! My friend likes to remind me he was right! (That’s the only time! Lol) He’s stuck in a hospital in the Bronx waiting on a hip replacement Monday morning. I didn’t have the heart to gloat. He’ll be in a crankier mood if the Rag$ win game 7!(I’ll stay quiet and just mail him a t-shirt when we win the cup again!)
