  2. I don’t care about the trade comps. Those are arbitrary, you like your guys go get them. But I do care that we needlessly traded for Scruggs, Horton and Patterson. Easily could’ve just sat where we were and gotten all 3 of them. I don’t care that we “lost the trades” I care that we traded when we didn’t need to and then still reached. They’re good players, but we didn’t need to trade to get them

  3. Over on /NFL_Draft there is a chart showing diversion from the consensus big board and we only “reached” on Juice.

    Dumb. “Reaching” is based on your preconceived notions of where you think a player should have been drafted. It does not exist anywhere in reality. It is raging because a team did not conform to your own internal bias.

    I have never and will never call anyone a “reach” for this reason.

  4. I honestly like Caserio’s strategy. It might be bad business and anti-analytical, but it’s player friendly. The new regime under DeMeco seems to be veer everything that way. Anderson put it perfectly, “they wanted me so much they traded up for me, it means allot.” Players are aware of this. They not only go after high character guys, they GO AFTER them. Hopefully it resonates and players are willing to play that much harder for them. It might be business, but building a team is much more than that. If your team fights for you, it’s easier to fight for them.

    About time this fucking franchise grew a pair and decided to make some bold moves. This is shit I never saw even when Demeco was fucking playing here. I love it. Full send. Feels like the master plan is falling into place. It may fail but who gives a fuck at least we have an FO willing to swing for the fences
