Ehlers heads to IIHF World Championships

Ehlers will join Team Denmark at the IIHF world championships if he passes his medical and he himself feel like he can play without issues. The Jets has given him the green light. He’ll be home in Denmark by Tuesday and will join the Team in their pre tournament prep which includes a couple of exhibition games.

He goes on to say that one of the big reasons he wants to play this year that it’s the last chance he has to play for his father as a national coach. Ehlers Senior is leaving the post as Team Denmark Coach after this tournament.

  1. Hard to say no when your dad is the one calling 😋

Honestly think it’s a good idea, he didn’t exactly get a lot of miles on his body this season due to his injuries.

  2. I hope he has a great tournament. Pretty special to play for his Dad. But god damnit if he gets hurt heads better roll.
