He’s honestly one of the most underrated players in the league. I think Sandler mentioned he’s like 16th in the league in OPS

Trevino and Alejandro Kirk last year over Heim. That was the real disrespect.
Adley is marketed as one of the next faces of the league, he’s also damn good. I’m fine with Heim getting the reserve nod if that’s the case.

That’s why I wasn’t upset when they took away the World Series home field advantage from the ASG winner. Too much at stake for a popularity contest.
Heim is way out in front of AL catchers in offensive and defensive WAR. If he keeps it up, he’ll hey some attention.
Hey future 1st ballot HOF’er Adrian Beltre only made 4 all star games. It’s never been about results (although Rutschman is really good too and is probably a safer bet to sustain/improve performance given his pedigree)
