Larry Rothschild being employed for as long as he was is one of the first reasons why Cashman needs to be fired.
Thought Gerrit was a shoe in but he definitely isn’t based on these #s… still think he’ll get it because of the innings advantage and relative lack of run support (he’s carrying our team on his back right now) but sonny certainly has an argument.
I guarantee if Cole pitched against the Yankees current lineup, he’d have 15 Ks and a shut out game through 9 innings.
