I’m a habs fan so the rivalry mtl-boston was crazy over the years! bergeron is a guy from my hometown so it hurts to see him leave like that, he was deserving a better ending but life goes on all the best to bergy and the bruins🤞

13. It’s insane to think he won’t be back. He still has years left in him if he wants. If the team doesn’t re sign him and he wants to keep playing, I can think of at least 6 teams that would immediately make offers to him.

16. I wouldn't be surprised if this sends Patrice Bergeron into retirement. Brad Marchand, the presumptive next captain, had a long hug. Bergy was only on a one-year deal and has been taking it year to year.

22. As a Panther fan, Bergeron was someone I always admired as a player.. His heart and tenacity for the game was truly special, I do feel bad for him and how it ended for the B's. I hope he can maybe play one more season but its a big ask

36. I can understand Bergeron's emotions. If that was his last game, what a bitter way to end a career. This year's Bruins, if they had gone all the way, would have been regarded as one of the best teams of all time. After this incredible loss, their remarkable season will now be viewed as something of a fluke.

46. Seeing my captain play possibly his last game as a bruins and seeing the effort by the team made me cry after the game. Thank you Bergy i love you. You deserved way better than what you got. Bergy is the best boston bruin of all time, nobody comes even close to the contribution he gave to this team on and off the ice. First ballot hof and the selke should be renamed after him.
