Damn shame

It’s really sad, and as a Met fan I wanted 48 to retire as a Met. But it’s sad knowing one of the greatest pitchers of this generation and possibly of all time, can’t pitch consistently healthy anymore. And it’s not even like he’s 28 and we still have a chance, he’s 34 (I believe). We may never seen anything close to his run of dominance from 2018-2021. Might even lose out on a hall of fame career. I hope he can get himself healthy and back to playing at a high level. As fans we should be able to see and as a player he deserves that.

  1. Bro, two amazing seasons then basically never pitching again doesn’t make you one of the greatest pitchers of a generation. This shit is so annoying.

You know what someone has to do to be a generationally great pitcher? Pitch! This guy throws more simulated starts every year than real starts. 100% chump. So much hype over nothing. Fucking hilarious. I hate the Mets, but even I’m happy they let this bum go to the land of overpaid nobodies.

  2. I don’t think one short IL stint (so far) merits this assumption he can’t still have a Cy Young caliber season. Tbd.

  3. If he gained like 20 lbs I swear his injuries would go away.

It’s not sustainable to throw 100+ mph when you’re 6’4 and barely weigh 180
