Couple nuggets on undrafted WR Bryce Ford-Wheaton: The Giants hosted him on one of their 30 pre-draft visits. And he's getting $236K guaranteed, per source. That's a full season salary on the practice squad ($216K) plus a $20K signing bonus. Clearly someone they want to develop.

🔒 him up
That’s a lot of money for an undrafted guy. The LB UDFA got a lot too, don’t remember his name.
He’s basically competing with soon-to-be 30 y/o Jamison Crowder and Collin Johnson off a torn Achilles for a bottom of the WR roster spot. He’s an extremely exciting prospect to want to develop, but it’ll depend on how much of a spot he can fit himself in on special teams. Ideally C. Johnson bounces to the practice squad as he recovers after being cleared.
He (Ford-Wheaton) basically has non-existent abilities as a route runner and needs to work on consistency but he really does have some incredible natural ability to track and attack the ball. If he’s able to stick as a special teamer, I could really see in a year or two him turn to be a genuine quality receiver IF he has the right attitude to work at it.
