  1. Ah yes. A perfect excuse for them to do nothing again this off season <3

  2. I like this move, but I wish they had signed Chafin this offseason and just started him in the Memphis rotation

  3. This is good. He has an exceptional curveball, but the spin rate on his fastball is not good (it has one of the worst spin rates in the majors). He needs a better fastball to make his disgusting off speed stuff more valuable, especially if he is going to be a starter. If he were to stay in the bullpen all year he would never be able to develop his fastball since he can come in for one inning and throw all off-speed in relief. He also needs to build confidence so he can throw more pitches for strikes.

  4. The fact that it’s actually about 2024 really makes it feel once again like management has no idea what they’re doing.

  5. Everybody relax – per Johnny Mo- we have six guys competing for 5 spots in the rotation, and Paul DeJong. We are FINE.

  6. If you aren’t trying to compete, why let the young players accumulate service time, right? This looks like a white flag to me.

  7. How about we get anyone who can hit a corner instead of middle middle 90mph fastchangeballs

  8. This organization is a rudderless joke. They have no real SP talent so they’ll take a BP guy and make him into a SP. remember when they tried that with Hicks and it failed spectacularly?
