47. I find it fascinating how, despite the fact Lizzo *owns* her bigness, and she prides herself in being who she is, people treat calling her big as an insult. Words like “fat,” and “big” and “large” have such a negative connotation by default in our society in regards to human-shaped things.

    PK *could* have meant it as a compliment, but everyone assumes the opposite since it’s so ingrained in our society that the opposite is the case.

    Look at a lot of the comments on this thread, for example; I see chuds not even commenting on what PK said, just affirming to other chuds “Yeah, Lizzo’s a fat bitch! Fuck her! Fucking human cow!” It’s gross, and misogynist, but that’s reddit. I don’t expect anything less. It’s just very disheartening and disappointing.
