  1. Calculated game 1 OT loss by the Stars. It worked in round 1 and teams winning the first game in round 1 lost the series 75% of the time 🤷‍♂

  2. Kraken score 3 goals in 52 seconds, score nothing else in regulation. Stars get 4 goals by a guy coming back from a concussion just to force OT. Yani with the 180 wrister to win. so much for the people calling for a Dallas sweep. I think this series is going to be a lot more intense than a lot of experts expected.

  3. every team who won first in the Eastern Conference last round, except for Carolina, is currently planning their golfing outing. Long long series to go. But man this Kraken team is just playing "No-Stress" hockey. They weren't even expected to make the playoffs this year, let alone beat the defending cup champs. They really have nothing to lose. It's a Win/Win if you are a Kraken fan.

  4. What an INTENSE game!!! Both sides were HARD FOUGHT!

As a Seattle sports fan, this kind of close game is nothing new to me, but it gets me every time! I almost passed out shouting at the TV when Yanni called it! I fell down because the blood went away from my head and to my lungs to shout "HEY HEY WHAT DO YOU SAY?! THAT'S KRAKEN HOCKEY BABY!!!!"

  5. As a Sharks fan from Day 1, I'm torn on this one. I live in CV, so I followed the Firebirds and Kraken all season (mostly Firebirds, but paid attention to the call-ups), but I've followed Pavelski for his entire career and would love to see him win a Cup.

I guess hope for a good series and hope for the winner of this series to win the Cup.

Oh yeah, I forgot. F the Knights.

  6. Topic aside from the game, this play-by-play guy is ESPN's best in my opinion. I hear a combination of Doc Emerick and Gary Throne in his voice.

  7. Little Yanni Gourde outmuscles defenseman Esa Lindell (no. 23) who is 6' 3", 220 lbs, grabs the puck in a scrum, then wheels around and blindly fires a shot toward the net.
