McCoy said he has stood up and waved his arms to let the players know where he was sitting. “Up here,” he said.
“I’ve been moved to locations where you can’t see part of the floor,” he said. “I guess we’re just lucky they let us in the building.”
McCoy has long complained about the seats given to visiting radio broadcasters in other cities’ arenas.
It’s why, he said, he opted in recent years to not travel to broadcast road games. **”I can’t see the floor to do an accurate broadcast,” he said. “I don’t want people listening to think I’ve lost it or don’t know what I’m doing.”**

Straight bullshit, Al McCoy IS the PHXSUNS for me, been listening since the 1970’s. Imagine making your great grandfather climb all those steps and back down to use the bathroom. I’m in my 50’s and my eyesight is failing. How TF they expect him to be able to see to call the game up there? It’s probably why he’s retiring. Unforgivable.
