  1. Love Lewis, but if Amos still has something to give, he’s more needed with a lack of depth at secondary.

  2. I want to say Amos, but he looked genuinely cooked last year.

I think I’d favor Marcedes Lewis for the development of the young TEs.

  3. Nobody knows how to kick in Lambeau like Crosby; he’ll make the difference between winning and losing some games.

  4. Crosby. How crazy would it be if one guy played for the final Favre season, all of Rodgers, and the start of Love. Three HoFers in fifteen years.

Ignoring the dumb sentimentality, though, and it’s Amos. A better pass rush could make him look better.

  5. Amos and it’s not even close. Nothing against Crosby and Lewis – they’re great Packers, S is still a huge hole.

  6. 1. Amos (we still have a massive hole at S, and I’d wager that his drop-off last year was more scheme-related than age)

    2. Crosby (we’ll have a good competition between White/Carlson, but it’s not really a bad thing to have a reliable vet in there just in case)

    3. Lewis (would still be a good locker room guy à la Udonis Haslem, but he’d get even less snaps than before now that our TE room is stacked. In the end though, I think he’ll sign with the Jets or another contender for one last ride)

  7. Crosby the last thing we need for a young team is to have the chance to win only to miss the winning fg or tying or multiple times during a game. Love is going to need every point he can muster

  8. Crosby, Lewis, Amos if I went in order. Reliable kickers are hard to come by. And Lewis was a big locker room leader

  9. Crosby only because of consistency. I’d feel better if he had a bigger leg and could be relied on from 50+.

  10. Amos. They drafted two TE and a kicker with picks you would expect to get immediate playing time. The only safety came in the 7th round. In a transition year, a mentor TE doesn’t make sense IMO. Carlson’s scouting report has more negatives than positives so I’m assuming Bissacia thinks he can fix him up. Even last years bad version of Amos would at least be rotational on the current roster.

  11. I want Lewis just to help develop the young TE. I don’t care if it’s as a player or a coach. Just get him in the building.

  12. Lewis. TE is one of the hadrest positions to transition from college. Amos looked 3 steps slower last year and I’d rather give young safeties snaps.

  13. Amos for sure we need the depth at safety…. Now I think it would be more fun to have Lewis back…. And my heart would be happy with Crosby back….

  14. Crosby.

Dependable kickers are hard to find and they’re cheap. I’d like to see more of Carlson before turning the keys over to him.

  15. Crosby. I’m actually ok without any of them. I don’t expect to compete for the playoffs so I’d like to give the younger players experience and I’m ok letting them fail a bit to learn and get experience.

  16. Amos 100%. I struggle with wanting Crosby back because of his clear rapid decline last season in distance. Look at his touchback percentage, the drop-off from the rest of his career was crazy.

I’m also a bit heartbroken the Pack didn’t draft Jake Moody. Have you seen that ‘stache? That dude was born to be a Packer. A cold-weather kicker in college and high school, 49ers jumped hella early but damn I wish he was headed to GB.

  17. It’s Crosby and it’s not close. Solid kickers are hard to find (just ask the Bears how it’s been trying to replace Robbie Gould) and Crosby has been reliable for a long time. Knowing he has a reliable clutch kicker can take some of the pressure off Love and hopefully help him make smart decisions with the ball rather than feeling like he has to make plays. As much as Rodgers was the face of the franchise, Crosby has been around almost as long. He’s the franchise’s all time leading scorer (he’s actually in striking range of doubling the person in second) and is closing in on top 10 all-time in the league. If they wanted to let him finish his career on his terms, it would be hard to argue that he hasn’t earned it. And lastly, of the 3 of them, I believe Crosby is the best at his position. I know that he’s lost some power on kickoffs, but the second to last week of the season he hit his Lambeau career long FG. He’s still got the leg and accuracy on the kicks that score points, which is what matters the most to me.

  18. Amos gives us the best chance to win.

Lewis would be a good mentor to our rookie TEs.

But I’m picking Crosby for purely sentimental reasons.

  19. Need to mark that pic of Crosby NSFW. Some poor woman’s going to got hot flashes at her desk.

  20. amos fs, he’d be able to still be a defensive leader in the locker room… lewis 2nd i think he’s the perfect guy to help out a young te room and a young team in general
