“Mike Gesicki said that he stayed in Mac Jones’s house for a while when he first got to New England.”

  1. Was mac not being at the Celtics game actually something people were complaining about or is this a straw man

  2. Cannot wait for training camp arguments over which second hand report is right. Way better than whether Mac looks pudgy in a picture or who he’s working out with or being impressed he’s working out at all (wow a professional athlete works out) or who stayed at who’s place.

  3. The Mac haters truly amaze me. I get how people aren’t 100% sold on him yet (I’m not either). But the amount of people hating on him for no reason and completely disregarding his rookie season performance and the terrible season they put him in makes no sense to me. Also Bailey Zappe has too small of a sample size to appoint him as the starter and even if we did, he wouldn’t be an improvement over Mac, if anything he would be equal.

Why would we not give Mac one more season to show if he’s a viable starter or if he’s not cut out for the NFL? He made the playoffs when in a good position his rookie year, and obviously underperformed in a terrible situation last year. It seems as though he’s going to be in a situation similar to his rookie year so why don’t at least see if we get similar results before turning on him?

Like I said, I’m not sold on him either, but the amount of people who are eager to complain about him without actual doing any conceptual thinking is absurd. Guess that’s just what you get from a fanbase spoiled by greatness over the last 20 years.

Also, a ton of Zappe’s passes got swatted down at the line of scrimmage but the Zappe Stans don’t wanna talk about that.
