  5. Huge win. Needed a momentum shift there. Letā€™s carry this through the weekend and into the Cardinals season before going on the road for awhile.

  9. I know we’re all excited about Mervis, but Steele is really putting together a nice season.

  15. Amaya with that defense and the clear ability to not only hit the ball hard but have good looking at bats, I seriously think we have a future core catcher. Not trying to get caught in any hype, but he looks legit.

  19. Okay, now that we finally have a win again, I can feel a little better laughing at the Cards– haha 1-9 in the last 10.

    This game wasn’t much different than most of the recent losing games, except we won.

  27. Wouldnā€™t hate having Barnhart go on the phantom IL for a bit to give Amaya more of a look once Gomes comes back.

  28. Amaya looks like a stud. Heā€™ll get his hits. Professional and collected ABs, solid defense, seems to be a great kid. He was once the Cubsā€™ #1 prospect for a reason.
