1. Someone else on this sub has something similar to this before but this is one of the only teams that can pay Kuzma, give him the green light on offense, and still possibly make the play-in or playoffs

4. Kuz is probably not going to get a $30m offer unless somebody besides the Wizards is absolutely convinced that he’s their future #1 or #2. Highly unlikely. I also think teams know Kuz just wants to use them as leverage, so they won’t have much confidence in offering him anything.

   Keep in mind that the Pacers’ $133m offer sheet with Ayton was seen as *highly* unusual at the time last offseason, and I’m pretty sure that they only did it to force the Suns into overpaying for Ayton. There was no market for him. If no one else wanted to offer Ayton that much, I don’t see why Kuz would be up there.
