  1. It’s not the last time. This Lakers team is formidable. Here’s hoping we meet them in the wcf next year

  2. > But this year’s matchup is especially significant. James, at 38, and Curry, at 35, are nearing the end of careers that have revolutionized basketball, with no clear heirs to continue the progression.

So they’re basically calling the younger generation a bunch of bums lol

  3. It’s a shame that we never had a Kobe vs Lebron playoff series at all in the previous generation

  4. we are truly blessed, this game is bigger than all of us, and these two players are the living manifestation of it’s greatness. in 30 years, we are going to look back with gratefulness, even for what Lebron did to us in 2016

  5. > Tim Hardaway knows stars when he sees them. Hardaway, a Hall of Fame point guard, battled against his share of them, including Michael Jordan, during a 14-year N.B.A. career.
    >
    > So when he sees Stephen Curry and LeBron James encountering each other yet again in the N.B.A. playoffs, only one comparison comes to mind.
    >
    > “Michael Jackson and Prince,” Hardaway said.

We know which one is [Prince](https://streamable.com/gctc2b).

  6. Difference is that Steph is still great, but Lebron isn’t top 10 anymore. People have really downplayed how bad he has been in the playoffs.

  7. Steph isn’t even the best curry. In order: Indian curry, Thai curry, Jamaican curry, Japanese curry, Seth curry, then Steph curry.

  8. >In 2009, when Golden State drafted Curry, Forbes estimated that the team was worth $315 million — the 18th most valuable N.B.A. franchise. Last year, after Curry led the team to its fourth championship in eight years, Golden State was ranked No. 1 with an eye-popping $7 billion valuation.

The Chris Cohen era was terrible except for the few moments like the RunTMC Warriors and We Believe Warriors. Both only lasted a couple years and were over a decade apart.

  9. How does steph come into the league halfway through Lebron’s career and MFs act like he’s been doing it for just as long?

  10. I absolutely loathe LeBron and Curry (for different reasons) but I’m for sure not passing up watching every f’n game of this series. It’s must watch basketball.

  11. Sounds like Boris Durke wrote the headline, can’t suck players off enough

  12. Lebron won’t retire till he gets all the records he can.

He doesn’t say it frequently, but he wants to be known as the GOAT when it’s all said and done.

  13. Why would it be the last time? Both of these dudes will be around for a few more years lol

  14. This feels like a 3-1 revenge series for Kerr.

Lakers have the talent to get a 3-1 lead, but the Warriors have the chemistry to come back.

  15. Unpopular opinion

LeBron didn’t redefine anything. He is one of the greatest to ever play, but hes 6’8 240lb elite physical specimen. His game is nothing knew, he didn’t change anything, he didn’t cause a generation of new anything.

    Curry did.
