A’s Broadcaster Glen Kuiper Suspended Indefinitely After Using Racial Slur on Air

I have enjoyed Kuip. I always loved Fosse and Papa duo slightly more, but Kuip has been a very good A’s announcer. Does anybody really think he did this on purpose? I am making no excuses for him, and there should definitely be penalties. I just hope he gets a second chance. I really do not think this was intentional. The Reds Announcer, Tom Brennaman was egregious. Tom didn’t know the Mic was hot and I can see a difference.
I mean, it’s pretty clear that’s part of his vernacular…
As someone totally impartial on this one. It’s clearly a flub that couldn’t have been any worse. He definitely tried to say negro league museum but just got tongue twisted.
