Teague is so funny. Love him. Also “it’s not meant to be” is a completely reasonable emotion to experience watching KD in that series, but also Bryn Forbes can get fucked regardless
Teague is a clown. Averaged 2ppg on 44 TS% and tries to act like him having a hurt knee had anything to do with it lol…Nah he was just trash.
Also, KD didn’t “cook” PJ that series like he said. This narrative needs to die. PJ forced KD into 2/7 bad shooting games that series. KD had a 39% shooting in game 3 and 36% shooting in game 4 that series.
PJ didn’t give up all of those points against KD like people try to say. When PJ was matched up with KD, KD had 54 TS% and 11 TOs against PJ in 59 minutes of matchup data. That’s well below KD’s usual efficiency. KD was just feasting on everybody else on switches. He was regularly getting screens and constant isolation coverage, because the Bucks intentionally designed the defense that series to stay home on Nets role players and let KD play one on one and get his.
At least he admitted they were hating because they weren’t getting minutes.
