SHOUTOUT TO LONNIE WALKER. Stayed ready the whole time and contributed massive minutes for us tonight. For Dlo, Ds, AR, his defensive effort was a godsend and now on Ham can trust him and give much needed rest to our Guards. 12 Pts, 4 Reb. 2 Stl, 1 Block. True Professional.

  1. I’m gonna need this entire sub in here. Fresh legs were desperately needed and Lonnie walkers showed that hes back to the defense he was showing earlier this year

  2. lonnie doesn’t need time to get hot, he’s been always ready. don’t know why beasley get his minutes. been saying it for months.

  3. The best part is he did a great job on Klay defensively. I don’t know if that’s what Ham expected out of him when he inserted him but I felt like after the OKC game he stepped up for he should’ve been a regular part of the rotation so I’m glad to see he’s made the cut finally.

  4. I’ve been a doubter mainly due to his defensive effort, but he proved me wrong tonight and I couldn’t be happier.

  5. Also he did a good job chasing Klay around. His knock was it wasn’t worth his offense for his defense. With TBJ and Malik struggling offensively, if Lonnie can give the defensive effort he did tonight he’ll be the 8th man in the rotation.

  6. I’ve been asking for minutes for Lonnie for the longest time. Dude was a solid A on defense most of the game on Klay and Steph, able to create and score. Dude was fantastic tonight.

  7. What a baller his game complements GS play so hard no one on his level on the other side in terms of athleticism ! Finally!
Never complained always ready never moped around about his minutes(ehem kuminga) plays hard even in trash minutes

  8. Ham outplayed the entire subreddit. People were arguing about different combos of Reaves Schroeder Brown and Russel staring or coming off the bench, and then Ham pulls the wildcard Lonnie play

  9. Can’t wait to see Hamm throw the 3rd Qtr lineup of DS, Russ, Walker, AR15 with Rui at the 5…..then wonder why we’re out rebounded 30:1….

  10. I think Ham has 3 note cards with either Lonnie, TBJ, or Beasley written on each of them . He puts them face down on his desk, mixes them around, and calls in LBJ and says “pick one”. And that’s how it’s decided who amongst them gets minutes.

    And Lonnie fuckin delivered tonight.

  11. Give Darvin Ham a lot of credit. Clever decision on his end to insert Lonnie. He played excellent.

  12. It’s like in DBZ, Lonnie ate some senzu bean and fly back up into the air with aura behind him standing next to the other Z Fighters.

  13. Man our team just has so many versatile pieces. Not as deep defensively as that 2020 roster but our offense is also so much better so no complaints

  14. Austin is absolutely gassed right now, and I think that knee is still bothering him. If Lonnie can be productive, I am all for giving him minutes to take some of the load off AR

  15. Hope this isn’t a one game thing for Lonnie. Ham can give him playing time so it’s up to him to perform. Today is a stero to the right direction. He’s quick enough to stay toe to tow with either Steph, Klay or Poole. Plus e can create his own shots and athletic.

  16. I’ve been telling the homies all playoffs. Bench Troy, play Lonnie. And it has worked out. Love this dude

  17. My man did a great job chasing around screens. If he could keep it up going forward that’d be huge for our chances.

  18. Great game Lonnie. You could definitely see his athleticism and freshness make a difference.
