Back in 2015 as a Sabres fan who had never watched McDavid in action, I wondered why he received so much attention compared to Jake Eichel who went No:2 in that years draft.
Both players have had very different career trajectories since then.. talent . Incredible talent has spurred on McDavid to lead the Oilers to once again dream of the Stanley Cup.. Sabres otoh had to trade Eichel to this Vegas team which has far more firepower of course… But Eichel is not the difference maker to his team the way McDavid is .. here is exhibit #1001 why.
