Trigger warning: Cabrera and Schoop are hitting back to back again.
No disrespect to AJ, but for Schoop specifically, he is not hitting against anyone. I’d be curious to see the analytics AJ is looking at when he makes these types of calls. I still feel like we’re using Schoop in certain situations using a data set from two seasons ago.

The 7 player lineup.
Small sample size all around but Schoop does have a .855 OPS against lefties. Don’t really have to do a deep dive into analytics. If he’s on the roster he’s gonna play, might as well play against lefties.
