Well, good for Rivera. The Royals’ infield was crowded last summer, but JJ should have gotten something much better for this trade than 14 games’ worth of Luke Weaver. (Still suspect Mike Matheny had something to do with that; he’d managed Weaver in St. Louis.)
If this team made one good move in the last five years I’d love to see it.
