Well…sorry Lyles. It seems when our pitching is solid our bats disappear and when our bats are solid our pitching disappears.
At the very least we got some rest in the bullpen for a four-game series.
If you told me Jordan Lyles would pitch a complete game loss, I’d believe you.
Jokes aside, he did his job, and did it well enough.
Back to reality, last few were fun tho. Let’s get the series tomorrow please. Edit: forgot it’s a 4 game set, so win tomorrow please.
Royals hitters went a combined 0-9 in the 7th, 8th and 9th innings. The ERA’s for those White Sox pitchers during those innings where 4+, 8+ and 6+
I’m struggling with Garcia in the 4 spot, Dozier, Bradley, and Eaton all in the lineup. Not much going to happen with that imo. Let’s go get ‘em tomorrow

Eaton needs to go away now. He is so far out of his element, he looks almost as embarrassed and frustrated as I would if I was up there waving at 95+ mph fastballs up in the zone. It’s just cruel to everyone involved at this point. Dude is 26, I think it can safely be said that he isn’t going to make it. Even if he is, it’s not going to be with us. Get him off the squad.
Hunter Dozier made a great defensive play… but also completely fucked us with bases loaded. 1 out, their starter is fading and taking a fake medical timeout to stretch an at-bat because he can’t throw a strike and has walked multiple batters. 2-0 count. What does Hunter do? He pops out and screws us. A guy we’re paying ~$7.5M this year. DFA his ass.
