This offense is either hotter than the surface of the sun or colder than the depths of the artic ocean. No in between.
Ya win some you lose some.
It is what it is.
We’ll get ’em next time.
Other phrases for taking a loss with pride.
GGs y’all.
Kirby is a good pitcher. Heaney pitched fine but his defense really crapped out on him.
Jung had a rough game, looked like Gunnar Henderson ROY out there
The boom or bust nature of this offense continues. The Rangers have scored 2 or fewer runs 10 times and 8 or more runs 12 times. That’s 22 out of 35 games where the offense has done almost nothing or scored a whole lot – about 63% of the time. Last year that number was 47%.
It is just how it will be for this team – the offense is either really good or really bad without a lot in between. This series it has been the latter. Only one inning of offense in two games. Not good at all, but that’s baseball. Go score 8+ tomorrow and it won’t matter.
Honestly just been two really good pitchers from Seattle. The mistakes in the field weren’t great but this isn’t anything like the meltdown against the Angels or that series in Cincinnati. Just a tough loss. Get the series win tomorrow afternoon and go sweep the A’s before coming home.
Kirby’s good, oh well. On to the next
Ugh…. Get ‘em tomorrow.
Nice to take a loss and not really have any solid complaints. No bullpen to blame, just couldn’t get it going.
See y’all tomorrow afternoon
I don’t see how anyone can justify Miller having a spot on this team
I’m okay, if not happy, with this result because it allowed the Stars to utilize all the Dallas sports karma for the night and get a big win against their own Seattle opponent.
At least the bullpen didn’t screw us this time.
At least the Stars won … go Stars!
While the DFW baseball team lost to the Seattle baseball team in Seattle, the DFW hockey team beat the Seattle hockey team in Seattle, so it all evens out?
