3. Day 3 of the Suzuki ⚔️ Nootbaar Samurai Matchup! Both sides hit and played well and the Cubs stopped the sweep! It was an interesting series!👏

5. This Cubs team seams to be hit or miss…I hope this team can get some consistency here soon. Love beating the Cardinals because it's a great rivalry. Huge road trip coming up…I hope guys like morel keep stepping up for us….go Cubs go 💪

6. Yepez cannot play the outfield. Not saying he cost the Cardinals the game, but he covers no ground out there, balls fall in around him that should be caught.
   He is a 1B/DH, so Mozeliak should start shopping to get a pitcher for him, from a team that needs a better hitter in their lineup.
   Montgomery looked slow today, which is unfortunate since he got some run support.

7. Cub’s will be fortunate to finish .500 this season 🤷🏽

10. Lots of empty seats for a CUBS Cards game, these are usually packed. The Economy is not doing great despite what China Joe Biden says.

11. It feels like the twilight zone. Cards come to Wrigley with the worst start since early 1900's, and take 2 outta 3. Totally the other way around, usually.

12. Gomes is the perfect fit for this lineup. Doesn't choke up under pressure and is an amazing catcher 🔥

13. I liked the Cards announcers doing a CYA for Montgomery's "lake of run support." It usually isn't an accident a pitcher has 5:00 plus ERA, and the Cubs racked him and the rest of the staff smartly. Is it time to trade an outfielder or two for pitching??? Lots of luck finding some.

14. Bellinger was a hustling animal tonight. He made a great throw that barely beat the runner. Madrigal is a firecracker; keep him.
    My Suzuki motorcycle is purring like a kitten.
    The man of Steele was cruising.
    The whole darn team played good.
