Beautiful not having scheduled 4 inning starts from Archer and 5 for Bundy
But people were telling me last season that it’s a dumb decision to let pitchers stay in for the third time in the order. And yes before you say we had archer and Bundy last year, I’m not talking about them. There were plenty of starts from joe Ryan and sonny gray where they were cruising with a somewhat low pitch count and as soon as they got yoinked the bullpen blew it. Which is probably why the pitching staff was so damn adamant in spring training to stay in the game longer
