  1. I’d rather not start the season 0-1 (Chiefs are by far the hardest team on the schedule) but this might be good. No one has seen how either the rookies play or Ben Johnson’s new offensive schemes. The Lions will be the most unpredictable they’ll be all season.

  8. Please god all I ask is that our defense is ready week one instead of taking a 6 week bye to start the year again. That’s it.

    That being said, this is so exciting. I can’t wait; at a certain point you can’t be afraid of losing, the boys need to go out and take care of business

  15. I literally ran around my house yelling at the top of my fucking lungs at how excited I am.

    Younger fans, you got to realize also – in my lifetime at least of being a fan of 28 years I’ve never seen the Lions on opening day. It’s always a defending super bowl champs, which is never us and another high-profile up and coming team, which is never us.

    This is literally a first of many firsts for a lot of us so at the end of the day I don’t care as much if we win or lose the fact that we’re there shows we have something to prove and that should be good enough for my team to use that to put the league on fucking notice that we’re fucking coming. Let’s fucking go!!!!

  16. What sucks about playing them in the opener is mostly just knowing Jamo is suspended.

    Otherwise I’m all about that shit. Would love a bit of revenge for the 2019 game too.

  21. Easiest time of year to beat any team period is week 1. Nobody has anybody figured out yet. I think we crush them. I can’t wait to see the odds so I can make some money on it, too.

  23. I have family in Kansas City and was hoping to catch them at Arrowhead in a way that doesn’t interfere with my Michigan football season tix so this would certainly be an answer!

  24. Chiefs are either gonna blow out the lions by 3+ scores or the games going to come down to the last possession in a shootout.

  25. I’m not gonna lie. I’m nervous as hell for this game. I know for certain we’re playing all our best and experienced starters. Our backfield is going to go all out against the champs.
