Worst game by panthers so far in play offs
Marner is soft. He needs a fight…. it would turn him into a man on the ice. Instead he'd rather take cheap shots to the face and look at the ref LOL. Come on, man..
Panthers had to run out of steam, actually Marner in 1st and Nylander in 3rd of game 2 toyed with FLA players, but FLA still massive attacks and keeping TOR to perimeter through game 3. in this game, they just stood and watched Willie pick them apart, not just open skating, but passes to Johnnie, kind of reverse of TOR D play in game 3. the winner of next game will be whichever of Matthews or Tkachuk shows up, Matthews if coach puts him with Willie.
How can you end this way ?
Give the Leafs credit, their backs were up against the wall and they responded. I have NO idea why Florida looked so flat, except for their goaltender, who was brilliant. Florida looked like a completely different team tonight, flat and no drive at all. Not sure why, but I have a feeling they'll respond in Toronto in game five.
That was one of the most bone crushing hits I've seen in a while.
Looks like Leafs are having a tough time scoring, but not for lack of chances, a lot of perimeter chances though. Also how often will they hold FLA to 1 goal per game? Thats a winning recipe

Referring is so brutal…how does Tcachuk get away with punching Marner in the face etc. etc etc. hockey is a joke of a sport….just bring back the goons and stop pretending it’s a serious sport.

I just can't shake the feeling that this series is going to game seven. Just feels that this series is far from over
Was at the game last night (Section 334) with a ton of other Leaf's Fans and the cheers of "Go Leafs Go" were just as loud as anything else in the arena. Kudos to the Panthers fans I sat near who were all gracious in the loss. Great goaltending on both ends of the ice. That game ending mini-brawl should result in some discipline though – totally uncalled for.

The Leafs outplayed Florida. It will be exciting to see if they can bring it again on Friday.

THE LEAFS NEED TO HURT SOME OF THE PANTHERS
I can't get over the ton of missed chances by the Leafs. Tavares was all alone several times and shot straight into the goalie's pads. Leafs need to play with much more desperation. Woll made some beauties, was in control.
The Leafs live to fight another day
Its been a long time. I saw the Leafs win in 1967. Can’t wait for the Cup again !!!
