Extend him now.
Guy has been good against RHP all year. I want to see him start hitting LHP. Dude is slashing .133/.291/.178 for a .469 OPS against lefties. That platoon split is what has been killing is season long numbers. It appears he gets going and then he faces a southpaw and gets derailed. I want a big game against Urias this weekend!
Yeah, he’s completely fine. This series against the Twins was the first time he really looked like peak Juan Soto during his time with the Padres
If he starts hitting lefties he’s got a great shot at MVP. As much as this series hurt, Soto and Manny looked a lot better. We just need that one big hit a game from the bottom of the order to get us rolling
