Where is that in the rules please someone show me
are you able to check his last 2-3 appearances and see if he did the same thing and is only being called now? someone said he might have been doing it all along and it just started to get called now.
I really just want to know what’s going on with him. He doesn’t look right and his velocity is way down
That makes sense for the one violation with 12 seconds on the clock. But it seemed like the other two were with less than 8 seconds on the clock.
I feel like it shouldn’t be an automatic ball just a no pitch.
I’m sure lots of people have a problem with the rule…. but it wasn’t the Umps screwing the Sox. It really wasn’t.
I didn’t watch today’s game and haven’t really paid attention for this, but does the ump signal to the pitcher when the batter is “ready?” Maybe it would help if the pitcher knows for certain when he can or can’t come set.
Yeah I’ll take “Talking points that ESPN will not shut the fuck up about tomorrow night” for 1,000
Well one thing’s for sure. No batters will become ready with more than 8 seconds against Jansen going forward
The past two games the starting pitchers were pitching like Ace pitchers. Now the problem is the closer.
Thought those were weird calls… 8 seconds left on the clock I thought batter needed to be ready by then
I’m fine with the rule, but the fact it happened multiple times makes me think Jansen didn’t know it was a rule and it wasn’t communicated to him even after the infractions.
Maybe I’m wrong but that’s just how I see it big he understood the rule he wouldn’t have kept doing it.
Is it just me or is it ridiculous the pitcher can’t be set? I understand having a rule against throwing a pitch when the batter isn’t set but why can’t he be set when the batter isnt? They want to speed up the game let the pitcher get fucking set when they’re ready
