Ohtani W keeps my anxiety away.
As good as the win is burning 5 of their bullpen pieces, who all pitched at least 16 pitches. In game 1 of a 4 game series, that is huge
This is probably (besides the cycle) the best you can hope for outcome wise for the Angels AND Ohtani in a game he gives up 3 HR and 5 ER.
He ain’t perfect, but man was he impressive at the plate. And it was nice to see him have stress free innings from 4-7 for the most part so the 98 pitches doesn’t seem as tiring.
Big win and I hope this is the last of Ohtani’s rough pitching outings, PLEASE.

The Orioles do not miss meatballs. They somehow managed to get 3HR in 4 hits against Ohtani. A better offensive game by the Angels though. Huge win

What a difference a day makes!
The Orioles are good. A ninth inning comeback is possible. Better to nail it down with Moore, and not risk it at all.

Dam, didn’t realized we got 17 hits today.
Shohei’s trouble with his sweeper is reminiscent of last season when he first started throwing nothing but sliders. He was getting rocked. I even recall many posters begging him to stop throwing so many sliders. But in time he dialed in that pitch and it became his best. He then went on a tear. I expect him to do the same with his sweeper.
Shohei gave up four hits and gets four hits himself, five times on base. Hope he resolves his issues soon, out of everyone he might be the one who mad at himself the most. But what a good outing for batter Ohtani today, 2nd cycle watch, thats wild! Never thought that he will be really close again this soon after A’s game. People said third times is the charm, he’ll get his SP cycle when he performs better at the plate for sure. Overall 17 Hits from everyone, good job 👏

A big win with a lot to love. Somehow, Renfroe making it from first to home is my personal favorite.

hurts to see his ERA increasing every pitching starts recently… they weren’t even bad. Barely any hits in last few starts. Just the walks and random HR’s hurting him.
