Seattle built a team the right way and will be in the playoffs for a while. They’ve got the same bones as Vegas but instead of immediately reaching for huge contracts they struggled for one season and now have centers Beniers, Shane Wright, and Goyette on ELCs.
They’re probably only a few pieces away yet have a ton of amazing, cheap depth for at least 2 more years.
Downvote if you wish, but fuck them, just like Vegas. So many breaks, overwhelmingly advantageous expansion draft rules, etc. No way I want to see this instant success of the newest teams. Also, get off my lawn, lol.
It’s embarrassing honestly. We can talk all the shit in the world about the new expansion teams but we’ve been around for a qtr century with nothing to show for it.
