Seems like I’m higher on Cade than most

I’m a Piston fan who watched almost every game he’s played in the NBA so I probably have some bias. That said, I think Cade will be a top 3 point guard in the league. He was a leader on this team from day one. Go look at when Isiah Stewart was trying to fight Lebron. The one player in front trying to hold him back was our #1 pick, rookie Cade Cunningham. Cade was literally running after Isiah trying to wrap him up, could’ve gotten injured lmao. That was the main thing I took away from that game, Cade is a real leader. The rest of the team believe in and follow behind Cade. He’s a midrange assassin and PnR master with a clutch gene. The reason we have a “logjam” of bigs is because Weaver is buying low on guys who can potentially be Cade’s PnR partner hoping one of them will pay off. My comp for Cade is Chris Paul in Jason Tatum’s body. I seriously think he will be so good when he comes back. I’m let down about the lottery too but I’m just so excited to watch Cade next year no matter who we draft. He will lead us to the promised land. Also, Ivey and Duren are going to be awesome 🙂
