  1. #[LUV U JANO HOLY SHIT WHAT AN ENDING](https://streamable.com/nf7htn)

Chris Bassitt is amazing. He shoved again tonight, sickness be damned. 27 straight scoreless innings for him now. Incredible

The Jays were awful, terrible, horrible with RISP. But! They were generally very good at the plate. 11 hits and five walks isn’t a bad night. It was just the sequencing that was off. Good thing hitting with RISP isn’t a skill. And even better that Danny Jansen is a Blue Jay.

Also… Cavan Biggio scored the game-winning run lol maybe he won’t go to Buffalo tomorrow.

The bullpen was nails. Mayza and Romano are among the best of the best.

The Yankees were shit. Did you feel frustrated with the Jays? Imagine if they only had three hits tonight. That was the Yankees. They were really, really bad. And their defence was even worse.

Fuck the Yankees. King Brrios will lead us to a series split.

  2. Game: pitching kept us in it.

Ballpark: Jano couldn’t keep the ball in it.

  3. Danny Jansen is now only allowed to bat after the 8th with RISP. I don’t make the rules.

  4. ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ YANKEES FUCK YOUR SWEEP ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ

  5. NOTED. SLUGGER. DANIEL. JANSEN.

What a well pitched game. What a tense game. What a ball club these Blue Jays are

  6. Gerrit Cole is not the winner of this game. (And squats down to fart on puppies)

  7. Yankees sub whining that they didn’t walk Jansen like he’s a consistent threat lmao.

  8. When you have five infielders and still nobody covers second base…

This entire series has been just stupid.

Also Danny Jansen is a baseball player.

  9. Don’t let the walk-off home run distract you from the fact the Yankees shifted to a five man infield only to fail to turn a double play on a soft grounder.

  10. Sports glasses Jansen and sports glasses Kiermaier own the Yankees this series!

  11. #1 RUNNER ON, 2 RUNNERS ON, NO RUNNERS ON; IT DOESN’T FUCKING MATTER TO DAN JANSEN

  12. For power and enthusiasm give me Vladdy ; for consistency and defensive excellence give me Chapman; but when disaster strikes and all hope is gone, get down on your knees and pray for Danny Jansen.

  13. that was some creative defensive alignment in the 10th. Almost worked except the rookie didn’t know what to do…

Jano to the rescue, yet again!

  14. This thread needs more people talking about how fucking good Romano and (especially) Bassitt are.

  15. Just had to add, Jano will be remembered as the hero, but Chris Bassitt pitched one hell of a game while obviously not feeling well at all. Plus he went 7, sparing our bullpen a lot. And third star to Romero for those 2 innings

  16. #American League Players with more RBI than hits in 2023 (min 20 RBI):

    |Player|RBI|H|
    |:-|-:|-:|
    |Adolis Garcia|44|39|
    |Danny Jansen|21|18|

    That’s it. That’s the list.

  17. Another reminder because some people just don’t seem to get it: Romano is a stud and he is our guy and he’s not going anywhere.

  18. I love this team

It can not be overstated how important Romano was, Bassitt too

  19. 1000% true story. My new Jays hat arrived in the mail at the top of the 9th so I put it on for the 10th and now I’m never taking it off again. You’re welcome.

  20. Glad to get the win. Probably would’ve enjoyed an extra 2 hours of sleep more than watching though.

  21. I streamed this from the hospital during my nightshift. Yelled a bit because of the walk off and woke up a baby. OOPS. Glad my 1 not busy shift was today so I could see this. THANKS BASEBALL/NURSE GODS.

  22. At the beginning of the game, I said I wanted a Blue Jays win because I was fighting a case of the cranky all day.

The fact that it was my beloved Jano that walked it off with a glorious blamo? Delicious icing on the cake!

  23. Yankee fans complaining saying that the jays celebrated like they hit a grand slam to win the World Series even though every team celebrates a walkoff homer the exact same way
