Nobody in attendance was shocked when Johnson did it because it happened before in Arizona but because spring games weren’t shown much it seamed odd.
I saw it happen at my brother’s travel baseball game once when he was in high school. The pitcher for that day was warming up before the game and a bird flew in front of him. They had a mini funeral for it behind the bleachers
