  1. Herman Moore – 3 straight first team All Pros, 3 straight 100+ reception seasons. They tell you Barry Sanders played with the worst teammates ever but Moore was a great receiver.

    James Lofton – sort of the 1980s Randy Moss. Tall, lanky with track speed. Averaged a ridiculous 18.3 yards per reception in his career. Retired in 1993 with more receiving yards than anyone. Of course it didn’t last long but still.

    Jimmy Smith – Only had 288 career receiving yards before turning 27. Had 12,000 yards after that age. Has as many 1K yard seasons as Terrell Owens and Larry Fitzgerald. Playing for the Jaguars and having a super basic name makes him somewhat forgotten.
