Triple-A Durham and selected RHP Zack Burdi to the major league roster.Additionally, RHP Javier Guerra has cleared waivers and accepted his outright assignment to Triple-A Durham.

Yonny hasn’t been bad lately, but I can understand giving other guys a chance.

Think this is just temporary to get another fresh arm up. Yonny just pitched and won’t be available for 4 more days + he had an option.
This move does, however, make me think that they’re not calling up Taj tomorrow.

While I can see the reason for this move and it’s not a big deal this really makes me curious what is going on with Taj and why they haven’t brought him back up.
Yonny will be back, hopefully Guerra stays in Durham, and I’m still sad about Drew and Springs because this means ANOTHER BP game tomorrow.
Never heard of Zack Burdi but here’s hoping he comes up and throws 60 scoreless innings for us.
I know they’ve been working with Taj to get him adapted to a 5 man rotation. Is it possible they are sending Yonny down to stretch him out to be a true starter (5-6 innings) instead of a bulk innings (3-4 innings) role?
Bullshit move, Yonny did fine and we need the long relief/spot starter role. Unless this is all setting us up to open the Taj garage?
