  1. Been saying this. It doesn’t make sense unless they get better now for them to trade bridges. So picks and young gunners that play no defense are not what they need.

  2. While the logic does make sense, the wording of this just screams to me that this isn’t based on any team source and is just him giving his (fair) opinion.

  3. Locked on blazers had a good idea.

    POR- Bridges

HOU- 3rd pick (POR), Nurk, Keon

BKY- 4th pick (HOU), 2024 BKY pick (HOU)

I imagine it might take a few more picks but that’s a decent framework.

  4. he also mentioned that the blazers are believed to be going after an elite SF with simons + 3. if it’s not bridges then I wonder who hes talking about

  5. Brooklyn painted themselves into a weird corner and really don’t have any incentive to work with us. Short of Bridges demanding out, and specifically saying he wants to come to Portland, I don’t see us making a trade with them. I say this as someone who wants Bridges the most.

  6. I’ve been saying this for the past 2 months and the idiots in this sub keep disagreeing/downvoting me for it because they don’t want to come to terms with reality.

  7. lol were so fucked if these pretzel deals are the scenarios getting fan approval

  8. Why muddle along when you can draft a young talent with a high draft pick you aren’t getting on your own for several years? They won’t sniff the high lottery for several years. This would be their best bet to get a high draft pick as most teams with top 3 picks want to keep them, not trade them. I think his logic is flawed.
