God this is depressing. At this point they’ll be lucky if they even break 60 wins
Well it’s been fun but unfortunately I don’t care because it’s Fennekin Day in Pokemon GO. If you need me I’ll be walking around Overland Park for the day. If you need someone to mug you’ll spot me pretty easily, I’m the white guy.
When I said that thing about getting swept by the Sox to keep the pattern going, I was JOKING.
We have transitioned from consistently inconsistent to consistently bad
14-34. 20 games under .500 and it isn’t even close to the end of May.
I had just said, watch him go down looking. And so it was.

vs the team that’s given up 2nd most runs in mlb. Yes, more than us (barely after this game).
Yes the pitching wasnt great but the inconsistent offense is the bigger issue. All of these were winnable games with some offense. If the offense can’t find consistency it doesn’t matter what sort of pitching staff a team has… Wins will be tough to come by.
Maybe if the record can hit 17-38 we’ll find some magic.
Watching this team is depressing. I really miss when the royals were actually fun to watch. Even in 18 and 19 they were at least fun to watch despite being bad. This team is so boring that watching paint dry is more entertaining than watching them. We’re almost 50 games into the season and the only reason the royals aren’t the worst team is because the a’s are tanking so they have an excuse to leave the city.
Turned it off to watch golf.
At least there’s no risk of us ending up 4th in the division
This is the worst state the Royals franchise has ever been in. From top to bottom. Ownership to front office to the big league team and staff down to the minors and the pipeline.
That is absolutely amazing considering the lows this franchise has had. I was a fan during the limbo after Kauffman died. I had season tickets for all the previous 100 loss seasons. This is the worst its ever been.
I tried to give everyone the careful what you wish for advice and I openly debated a lot of people about the moves the organization has made on and off the field.
This is what you get when you go for a youth movement to make Twitter “fans” happy. This is what happens when you convince fans that spending money on veterans is a bad idea. This is what you get when you don’t have the balls to actually clean house. And this is what you get when you try to pluck guys from a winning organization but don’t actually pick a guy who uses that organizational philosophy.
Failure all around. This is the worst.
Always cool to get a younger team than usual and have them be even more lifeless than the teams of useless veteran filler
