Why is OKC involved? You’re sending a FRP just to offload Bertans?
If we trade 10 to move bertans contract (which is essentially an expiring deal) and 2 seconds I’m gonna kill myself 😀
Using our 10th pick just to dump Bertans would be a complete disaster. Like, fire the GM bad. Worst case scenario we just keep Bertans until the trade deadline and then waive him if we can’t find a trade partner, but his contract is not even close to bad enough for us to give away a lottery pick.

I actually don’t hate this — I think in theory we can do better, and we’re overpaying for cap space with Bertans, but so many trades you see on this sub are fucking insane and assume every other team is batshit. This is assuming that we have to pay premiums for things, which we do tend to have to do.
I agree with Brooks and Allen as close-to-perfect fits for the stars on our roster.
I’m sure I’ll get downvoted or something for saying that the 10th for cap space isn’t a bad idea, but if you consider that the 10th is a risk, and in most years Brooks would be considered a massive success, statistically, if drafted at 10 (same with Allen), it suddenly seems like a not entirely stupid move.
