Spencer Brown and Terrel Bernard
Greg Rousseau needs to take a leap.
He started off hot in his rookie season and seemed to fade towards the end of the season. Last year it looked like a break out year, but as soon as Von went down it seemed like he disappeared again.
I think we need to him to bring the heat for a full season, especially for the first month while Von is away.
He still finished with 8 sacks, but I’d like to see 10 to 12 and more splash plays.
Ed Oliver needs to ball the fuck out while still on his rookie deal and since it’s a contract year I think he will
I’d like to see Cook have a big year, both rushing and receiving. Need a consistent rushing threat even with a “pass-first” offense. Play action wins games.
Looking forward to seeing how the defense looks with McD calling the plays. Hoping this will mean more production from Oliver (Poona will be knocking at his door too) and all the DEs. Hoping Elam thrives in this scheme.
Of course hoping interior offensive line steps up. Even for a couple more seconds each snap.
It’d be nice to see Kaiir get more reps and play more like the 23rd overall pick he is. I understand he didn’t get a whole lot of reps to prove himself tho. But having another true 1st-round talent opposite Tre would give us a real lockdown secondary.
Gabe, Rousseau, and Cook. If they have big years, this team will be nasty.
Torrence and Spencer Brown need to have at least solid years.
Epenesa needs to just start showing up on the stat sheet to even come close to living up to his draft position. He’s been a bust thus far IMO
I’m so unbelievably confident that Khalil Shakir can be an awesome player in this league. I think he’d be a way better player than Gabe Davis if he got a good snap share. Downvote me all you want for that one!

Not really a breakout but we need Tre White to return to Pro Bowl-caliber form. Him, Poyer, and Hyde are going to be huge for the Bills to start the season while the Bills figure out their pass rush and new linebacker scheme. We will really need them to make plays for us
AJ Epenesa maybe. Though I don’t think he’s staying if he breaks out. I think he might get ten sacks or so. I think he got 6 last year and he’s mostly playing in a rotational role. He seems to be getting better every year.
Gabe will have a great bounceback year, ed oliver is gonna ball out on a contract year, rousseau is gonna evolve into the edge guy we drafted him to be, but my guy who is overlooked for a break out year, khalil shakir. Kid got some burn with injuries late last year, but the kid is a baller and almost like an Isaiah Mckenzie, with better hands. Kid is gonna be one of those who reinvents the slot role, if he reaches his potential. He has the opportunity to succeed, he just needs to be a great slot guy, find the seam in coverage, like beasley did, and make the best of every opportunity. Shakir should make some splash plays, he has the potential to be great.
Honestly, I want to see our whole line bring it. Dion, Connor, Mitch, Ryan and Spencer all need to play their best. Give Josh the time, he will make the plays.
