  1. >Could a return to “free TV” happen in St. Louis?

    >Nothing appears imminent because there have been no missed or late payments to the Blues or Cardinals, sources said, and with no other significant contract violations it would seem likely the status quo would remain — unless there is some blanket court ruling against Diamond.

    Pooooop

  2. I hope this ends up with the teams owning their own networks (or combined between all the teams in a city), somewhat similar to the Yankees with YES network.

  3. 2 things to keep in mind:

    1. Bally is still paying its profitable contracts and the Cardinals are one of the top 2 for them. Blues in the off-season currently may mean there are no current payments.

    2. The Blues and the NHL have absolutely no plan for what happens if MLB teams decide not to play on the same RSNs, there will be a huge drop in TV revenue if this is the case

  4. Bally’s is still whining about not getting the streaming rights. The teams werent making a deal with before you went into bankruptcy, they sure as hell aren’t gonna make one with you now.
