### Decisions

*Game ended at 2:50 PM.*

12 comments
  1. * Scholtens allowed 2 ER in 4.2 IP.
    * With a single, Romy broke Lorenzen’s perfect game bid after 5.2 IP.
    * The Sox couldn’t follow up last night’s performance. They only got 4 hits and 1 BB today.
    * Sheets hit a bases-clearing 3-RBI double.
    * Kelly and Lambert gave up a combined 5 ER in relief.
    * Before today, Kelly had given up 2 hits and 0 runs in 9.2 IP this month.

  2. Can’t even win series against bad division rivals. Next months schedule is brutal too. This team is done

  3. This subreddit is so good at math that they realize this team doesn’t need to sweep every series to make the post season. That same part of the subreddit actually believes we can win mosts series. Get real people.

  4. White Sox are not good but they’re in a terrible division and have the 3rd easiest remaining schedule strength. It’s going to come down to them playing well or shitting the bed. I don’t think it matters if they win division or not but people saying it’s impossible are just wrong lmao

  5. I don’t really give a fuck if this team somehow sneaks their way into the division lead, they’re not winning shit. It would actually be worse for the future if they were to win the division

  6. F*ck Detroit!!! Looks like our success the last few years against them has disappeared 😕

  7. We do not need sweeps or unrealistic winning streaks: Day 8

    Before anyone shrieks at me, I’m not advocating for losing. But the reality is, we don’t actually even need to win every series. We can afford to lose a couple here and there.
    Since the losing streak, we are 15-11, which means we’ve been playing .576 ball. If my calculations are correct, if we keep up that pace for the rest of the year, we would end the year with an 84-78 record. Looking at our division, that may be enough to win the division.

    This has us 4 games under .500 at the all star break.

    Thank you for coming to my 8th Ted Talk
