1. I guess I don’t understand how Helsley gets the win, why didn’t the win go to Flaherty since he pitched thru 7 innings, is it just the amount of people thru the bullpen that doesn’t let him get the win.

19. Does anyone realize how smart Donovan was to run past 2nd? That situation occurs about once in every 200 games. It trades the sure tag out past 2nd for the chance for the baserunner to score from 3rd. It only makes sense late in a game that is tied with two outs and runners at first and third.

    I wonder if Donovan did that on his own volition.

33. Manfred Man games like this always feel cheap. It felt cheap a few games ago when we lost a game in almost this same way and it feels cheap today. But cheap wins are better than cheap losses.
