We got blown out at home at G6
Boston is the least deserving franchise and fanbase of such a historic comeback.
I mean…I can’t be the only one who noticed the media manufacturing the moment that Boston won Game 4. I get it, they’re a Boston team so obviously there will be that comparison to the Red Sox, and Smart and Brown did the Kevin Millar “don’t let us get one” bit. But they were still far from the first team to be down 3-0 and then win game 4, and even win game 5. And every headline after game 5 was like “Celtics win game 5, pushing closer to 3-0 comeback.” and it’s like “what the fuck?” Because that narrative wasn’t really there for the Raptors-Sixers last year except to poke a bit of fun at Doc Rivers, and same thing happened in 2015 with Bulls-Bucks.
But whatever, it’s actually 3-3 now and the Celtics have game 7 at home.
I think with a fully healthy squad we wouldn’t have been down 3-0. I think we could’ve pushed it to 7.
