Butler hasn’t been that great outside of the Mke series, his numbers vs Knicks and Celtics are just okay, and surprisingly mediocre considering the discourse around his performances before last night.
Harden had four games worse than Butler’s worst game against Boston.

Tatum went from fraud (thru Q3 of G6) to winner (G7) then fraud (G1-3 ECF) and now he’s a winner again.
Oh little Spike and his agenda against Jimmy Butler. You said the Sixers should not sign him and he could never get out of the second round, but now he has 3 ECFs and a Conference title.
Furthtermore, James had 6 out of 11 playoff games shooting below 30%, Jimmy has 1.
Oh phew! Here I was, all upset the 76ers lost! According to Spike fucking Eskin, it’s allllll OK because another team’s player has similar pathetic stats as one of ours.
Wow do I feel better knowing that perpetual failure is perfectly acceptable, and even admirable!
Jimmy gets it done on defense though. Big difference to make an impact on that end of the floor even if your shots not falling. If Harden has a bad offensive game then he’s pretty much useless.
