  16. I wish the Pirates would have traded for Kelenic last off-season. They desperately need to add another legitimate hitter with how much guys like Joe, Hayes and Santana are struggling at the plate.

    Their best hitter in May has been Marcano and he, McCutchen and Reynolds are the only guys with an OPS above .750 this month. They need to be getting more from the rest of their bats.

  21. Hope you don’t mind an M’s fan dropping by to wish you luck the rest of the way. You’ve got a pretty likeable group of guys, (including Santana, who I *really* wish we didn’t let go.)

    And besides, gotta have some solidarity for a fellow nautical team.

  23. We all knew the 20-8 start was unsustainable, but for the team to go 6-18 following that is just not acceptable. They get what they deserve for obsessing about the Super 2 deadline; I know I would’ve rather seen Davis in Pittsburgh the last few weeks instead of mashing AA hitters.
